PW-ORM5 One-Touch Flash Measuring Machine
The Flash Measuring Machine is a high-precision optical measuring instrument, mainly used for the rapid detection of workpiece dimensions, shape, and positional tolerances. It employs a non-contact measurement method, avoiding the damage to workpieces caused by traditional contact measurement. This system focuses on industrial measurement and applies widely across automotive, electronics, precision manufacturing, 3C electronics, medical devices, and aerospace. It eliminates traditional tools like calipers and CMMs, streamlines manual operations, and delivers automated production inspection.
Application:
This system excels at measuring dimensions such as distance, radius, angle and radian, and serves widely across electronics, machining, hardware, plastics and automotive manufacturing. Typical measured workpieces include stamped parts, injection-molded parts, and laser-cut parts.
- Precision Part Measurement:
This instrument can precisely measure components made from both metallic and non-metallic materials, including stamping parts, CNC machined parts, terminals, connectors, powder metallurgy parts, gears, and screws.
- Surface Profile Analysis:
It detects the projected profile, surface steps, chamfers, and other geometric features of parts.Using optical imaging technology to capture the workpiece profile, it automatically evaluates dimensional deviations.
- Batch Inspection:
It supports one-click batch measurement of multiple styles and automatically generates data reports, significantly improving the measurement efficiency on the production line. The measurement accuracy can reach the micrometer level, supporting rapid acquisition of multiple size data. After the sample is placed stably, automatic measurement can be performed, allowing simultaneous measurement of multiple samples. One-click measurement can automatically search for and call user programs, and the recording and calculation of measurement data take only about 1 second.

- Automatic Matching of Workpieces:
Workpieces can be placed arbitrarily. “One-click measurement” can select multiple positions, create combined selection boxes, or establish matching using measurement elements. Matching can also be achieved by importing CAD files.
- Comprehensive Measurement Elements:
Point, highest point, line, highest line, circle (center coordinates, radius, diameter, roundness, circumference, area, maximum radius, minimum radius), arc, rectangle (center coordinates, length, width, circumference, area), ellipse (center coordinates, major axis, minor axis, circumference, area), keyway (center coordinates, length, width, circumference, area), imported CAD profile scanning comparison, profile PV, area comparison, cylindrical diameter, seal ring (calculating radius from circumference, maximum radius, minimum radius, thickness). Measurement results can be recalculated (maximum value, minimum value, average value, sum).
- Annotations:
Distance, X distance, Y distance, radius, diameter, angle.
- Shape Error Evaluation:
Straightness, roundness.
- Position Error Evaluation:
Parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, position tolerance.
- Coordinate System Transformation:
Select Cartesian coordinates (X, Y) or polar coordinates (R, θ), instantly convert basic measurement units between MM and INCH, and use coordinate translation, coordinate rotation, and workpiece coordinate system setup.
- Data Output:
Customizable Excel templates are available, and specific output cells can be designated. The software includes a built-in CPK template for calculating MEAN, MAXIMUM, MINIMUM, CP, CPK, CPKU, and CPK.
