Overview (Equipment Model: PW-IR300J)

Equipment Purpose

The equipment is mainly for a variety of metal, non-metallic pipe and plate (including a variety of non-metallic materials such as plastics, ceramics, nylon, building materials, etc.) for the impact resistance test testing equipment. It employs an impact force value sensor and a testing system with a high-speed data acquisition card to determine the load and deformation transient values during the fracture process of the impacted specimen, i.e., the impact energy absorption, the force-displacement-energy curve during the impact process, and characteristic points on the curve: yield force Fgy, maximum force Fm, crack initiation force Fiu, crack arrest force Fa, and maximum force energy Wm, crack initiation energy Wiu, crack arrest energy Wa, total impact energy Wt, and corresponding displacements. This allows for fracture analysis of the specimen, reflecting the material’s ability to resist dynamic impact loads, the force and deformation characteristics when subjected to impact loads, and the dynamic fracture toughness analysis of materials under high strain rates.
